The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, fabricating, electrical, welding, machine servicing, and vehicle servicing. This person will have a greater knowledge of electrical systems. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

· General maintenance duties
· Preventive maintenance
· Trouble shooting
· Familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
· Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in area(s) of specialty
· Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Education in the maintenance field is preferred.
· One year of industrial electrical/electro-mechanical work experience, including but
not limited to installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
· Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office
· Excellent communication skills - verbally and written.
· Proven mechanical/maintenance aptitude
· Possess strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
· Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
· A desire to be a contributing member of an outstanding team.
