Grateful for our Growers

Grateful for our Growers

Thursday, January 23, 2025 (10:30 AM - 2:00 PM) (CST)

Description

The event will feature Jeff Ditzenberger, our keynote speaker, addressing the mental health struggles faced by farmers, ranchers, and rural communities while offering insight into practical steps for improving mental well-being. The keynote will highlight how stigma can prevent people from seeking help and the importance of breaking down those barriers.

Following the keynote, there will be a panel discussion with mental health professionals, community leaders, and individuals with lived experience who will discuss key topics related to suicide prevention, stress management, and resources available for those struggling. The panel will provide actionable advice for individuals prioritizing their mental health and seeking support when needed. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions and engage in open conversation.

We are offering a free lunch for all attendees in the spirit of coming together as a community. This will provide a chance to connect in a supportive, relaxed environment.

Grateful for our Growers is designed to provide crucial information, create open dialogue, and promote mental wellness among farmers, ranchers, and rural families. Attending will give you valuable insights into how mental health impacts those in agricultural industries, help you learn about suicide prevention resources, and be part of a compassionate community dedicated to making a difference.
