Clintonville Christmas Parade & Other Events

Description

Join us for a fun filled day sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!  Our day will start with Bingo from 9:00 to 11:00 at the Community Center followed by our Santa Meet and Greet from noon until 4.  Don't forget to check out the downtown businesses , get a horse and wagon ride, and have some hot drinks during the Community Stroll - also noon until 4.  Parade at 4:30!  This year's parade theme is "Festive Family Films"!  Click "Register" to either register for the parade or if you are willing to be a Sponsor!  Floats will be judged based on execution of parade theme, visual effect, creativity, light enhancement and an overall score. 

Instructions:

  • Parade is December 9, 2023 at 4:30 pm.  You may begin lining up on the right hand side of the road at 3:45 pm on 16th St. Parade will go down Main St. to 8th St.  Please note line-up is on a first come first served basis this year.  If you need to be done early, please plan to be there early for line-up.  There will be no parking in Christus Parking Lot for any floats. This space will be reserved for the band, color guard, mayor, etc.  Please enter 16th St. either from the North or South on Industrial Drive, or the East on 16th St. You will follow the person in front of you. 

    • No entry shall have Santa and/or Mrs. Claus on their float as this is arranged already.
    • ATV’s participating in the parade must follow travel ordinances when coming to and from the parade line-up.
    • For judging purposes, please have the name of your business or organization visible on both sides of the float or on the vehicle.
